Walk Highlands is a website with walks contributed by those who have enjoyed days out in the Scottish landscape.

The walks in the Outer Hebrides are collected together, and then subdivided into the different regions of the Hebrides.

In the Harris section twenty three walks are featured including The Postman’s Path walk from Urgha to Rhenigidale.

In the North Uist and Berneray section eleven walks are featured including two walks on Berneray. A 4.5 km walk around the south of Berneray The Berneray South Circular and a 12.2 km walk called The Berneray Explorer that takes you across the middle of the island and around the around the north of the island.

In the South Uist, Benbecula and Eriskay section there are nine walks including the 10.5 km walk around Loch Druidibeag from Howmore and the 18.7 km walk up Beinn Mhor and Hecla.

A book has been recently published by Simon Grove and Norman Grieve on a walk over the hills of South Uist starting at Howmore.
